LWSD students have the wonderful opportunity to participate in the KITE STEM Challenge. The KITE STEM Challenge is a Google-sponsored competition between schools to see who has the most STEM knowledge. There are individual prizes (such as Pacific Science Center Memberships) as well as the chance to earn money for our school! Google has generously donated $40,000 to give away to winning LWSD schools in this challenge. That is some serious money to invest in STEM! So please participate and enjoy this challenge.
