Our DNA

Emily Dickinson PTSA is a community of volunteers advocating, communicating, and working for the purpose of enriching the “whole child” by providing a variety of opportunities and resources in a positive environment.

In addition to that, we like to have fun, and get to know each other while serving the children and teachers of our schools.  We delight in their learning, celebrate their accomplishments, and support them as best we can.

Our leadership team, committee chairs, committee members, and body of volunteers are always changing as the kids move through school.  New ideas and perspectives are always refreshing and welcomed.  As seasoned volunteers move on with their children, it’s important to pass on the nuts-and-bolts to new leaders and volunteers.

Get Involved

We  are so fortunate to have a large,
varied school population with many backgrounds, skills, talents and personalities.  If you have an idea that could benefit our schools, please let us know or find a committee that could benefit.  Volunteer opportunities can be ongoing, monthly, or even one time events.

By getting involved, you will meet other parents, get to know your kids’ peers, perhaps learn or sharpen a skill, and be an integral part of your child’s learning experience.
