Vision

PTSA:  a community creating unlimited opportunities for achieving excellence.

Mission

Emily Dickinson PTSA is a community of volunteers advocating, communicating, and working for the purpose of enriching the "whole child" by providing increased opportunities and resources in a positive environment.

Welcome to the Emily Dickinson PTSA Website!

Thank you for joining us in the effort to provide the best education possible for all our children.  Nothing is more satisfying than seeing a child excel in all that they do, and our PTSA is here to help that happen.

Your PTSA Presidents for the 2010/11 school year are Andrea Stoppani and Wendy Woolsey.  Andrea has two girls at Emily Dickinson, one in 4th grade, and one in 6th.  Wendy also has two girls here, one in 1st grade and one in 4th.  Our job is to help the PTSA figure out the priorities of the parent community and bring programs forth to meet those priorities.  We also work closely with the school administration to figure out what programs will help them the most.

We are proud to be a part of an organization that brings such high quality programs to the children of the school as our big and little theater programs, the terrific assemblies the school schedules, the Nature Vision classes, and our Art Smart art docent program.  These are just a small sample of the many programs made possible by all the members and volunteers involved with our PTSA.

The partnership of our PTSA with the Emily Dickinson and Explorer schools, coupled with your involvement, help us enrich the educational environment for all the children at these schools.  Thank you for your support and for volunteering however you can to help us with this endeavor.
