Math Challenge #12 is available HERE and due Thurs, March 28. Please print, complete, and return to Mrs. Jones at the front office. Students who complete 12 out of 15 challenges are recognized at the end of the school year.
4th graders: Obtain a FREE pass to federal parks, lands, and waters from Every Kid Outdoors! Passes must be printed; electronic passes not accepted. Passes are intended for 4th graders only and valid through August 31, 2024.
Make sure your volunteer status is up to date! First time volunteer? Submit a LWSD Online Volunteer Application for clearance. Returning volunteer? Look for a renewal reminder from Raptor. (Check junk mail for Raptor System.) Approvals are valid for two full years.
Free & Reduced Meal Benefits: Applications for the 2023-24 school year are available to complete online (preferred method) through MySchoolApps, or by manually filling out an application found on the district website. Please file a new application for uninterrupted benefits. The application takes less than 10 minutes to complete, and parents need to provide just one application per family or household.

Everyone is invited to join the 4th grade students for the Salmon Release Ceremony on Saturday, March 30th at 10:00am in the park behind the Bear Creek Safeway. We will have a brief ceremony and then students and siblings will have an opportunity to release a salmon parr into the stream to begin their migration to the ocean. We have between 150-200 salmon so everybody will have a chance to participate. All are encouraged to attend this memorable event. Hope to see you there!
